Company DescriptionWe are a leading children’s apparel company engaged in licensed and private label business with major retailers across the USA.Job DescriptionSupport the design and development of seasonal apparel collections for the Big Girls Walmart licensed businessResearch current fashion, color, graphic, and market trends relevant to the target customerCreate and update apparel designs, colorways, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopCollaborate with Senior Designers, Graphic Designers, Merchandising, and Product Development teamsHelp develop design concepts that align with brand guidelines, retailer needs, and seasonal trendsReview samples and provide design feedback throughout the development processOrganize and maintain design files, artwork, and seasonal project informationAssist with approvals and revisions to ensure designs meet brand and customer expectationsQualifications2+ years of apparel design experience, preferably in children’s or retail apparelProficient in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopStrong understanding of fashion trends, color, graphics, and apparel constructionStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentLicensed apparel experience is a plusMust be located in NYCPosition is primarily onsite with some flexibility to work from home on Fridays
