Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a per diem role to support a strike workload. The position requires immediate availability for onboarding and work during the strike date.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Coordinate and provide direct patient care in the medical-surgical setting.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all mandatory certifications and vaccination requirements.
  
  
• 
  Report for onboarding by 09/14/2026 to prepare for the strike shift.
  
  
• 
  Participate in minimum orientation attendance to be eligible for strike work.
  
  
• 
  Adapt to floating across units as needed, maintaining high-quality care standards.
  
  
• 
  Complete accurate timesheets, including manual submissions if no badge access is provided, within the designated timeframe.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active nursing license verified in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
  
  
• 
  Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or approved attestation.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate flexibility to float between units with minimal supervision.
  
  
• 
  Have prior experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.
