About the Position

Our client is seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Medical Oncology for an engaging assignment in Minnesota, starting Nov 9, 2026. This role involves a standard 5-day, 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The successful candidate will manage a diverse outpatient oncology and hematology population, providing care for solid tumor cancers and hematologic conditions, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive therapies. Duties include operating an infusion clinic, utilizing various imaging modalities, and participating in palliative care and telehealth.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a broad outpatient oncology and hematology population, including solid tumor cancers and hematologic conditions requiring active management.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology supportive therapies.
• Facilitate access to clinical trials through MMCORC and NCI-supported research programs when eligible.
• Oversee operations of the infusion clinic.
• Utilize in-house imaging services such as Nuc Med, Pet Scan, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.
• Perform in-house lab work, including blood draws.
• Engage in palliative care and telehealth services.
• Ensure all charting is completed within a 24-hour timeframe.
• This role does not involve radiation therapy.
