Job Summary:
The labor and delivery department in Templeton, California is seeking a skilled Obstetrical Technician for night shifts. This position involves assisting with patient care during labor, delivery, and recovery, as well as supporting surgical procedures related to obstetrics. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Templeton, California
• Schedule: Night Shift, 3/12s, 6:00 PM 6:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Education/GED or equivalent; Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Cesarean section experience; 1 year relevant experience; valid license/certification in Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician preferred
• Essential Functions: Assists in preparation of patient rooms, opens sterile supplies, aids surgical team, participates in operative case timeout procedures, assists with deliveries, collects urinalysis specimens, records maternal vital signs and other measurements, provides personal care, and supports patient transfers and discharges
• Additional Information: Call required as needed. Successful candidate will have cesarean section experience.
