Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician CVOR

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR Technologist in a high-volume hospital setting

License: Current CST certification required
Certifications: BLS

Must-Have:
- Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
- Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Strong references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed

Description:
The CVOR service line provides surgical interventions for routine and complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures.
Cardiac procedures include coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, and placement of ventricular assist devices.
The role may also involve procedures such as the placement of Impella or intra-aortic balloon pumps, as well as adult ECMO.
TAVR procedures are conducted in the endovascular OR.
Thoracic cases encompass both laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open procedures.
Vascular procedures range from placement and revision of ESRD grafts and fistulas to endovascular procedures in the endovascular OR.
The CVOR service line consists of 4-6 ORs, depending on daily volume, including an endovascular suite.
The service line has the capacity to perform four concurrent procedures requiring cardiopulmonary bypass.
During downtime, candidates may be asked to support other specialty service lines in the OR.
Those applying for this position must have a minimum of 5 years of recent full-time experience as a CVOR technologist in a high-volume setting.
Candidates with less experience or requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered.
This position requires the ability to hit the ground running.
