As a Technical Integration Consultant, you will own and drive the technical integration discussions with various a You will work closely with our Business Development and Account Management organization. A passion for travel, a passion for technology and technology expertise combined with excellent communication skills and business acumen are critical to a Technical Integration Consultant's success.In this role, you will:Conduct workshop / presentation for technical team of affiliate partner on Expedia B2B Rapid API and other newly developed travel APIsCommunicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical customersGive practical advice on the use of Expedia B2B APIs to affiliate partnersIdentify best practices and proactively share the best practice with affiliate partnersAnalyze and troubleshoot highly complex technical integration problems and propose effective solutionsCollaborate with the Level 1/2 support team with complex escalations that require direct contact with top partnersApply AI tools to optimize processes and improve efficiency across integration and support activities.Support affiliate partners in North AmericaEngage in pre-sales activity with the sales team and propose solution to meet partner needsProactively helping the Business Development and Account Managers to identify opportunities of new product offeringsPerform Quality Assurance tests on API sites prior to implementationAble to manage and prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree; or equivalent related professional experience2-4 years of experience in coding or system integrations.Proficient at multiple programming languages including SQLExperience in Restful API and database schema designComfortable using enterprise resource management programs and tools.Experience in e-commerce and/or travel industry a plusPre-sales experience, working with sales and business partners a plusExperience building AI solutions and developing AI agents a plusAvailable for up to 10% travel per yearExcellent oral/written communication skillsGood sense of business acumenAbility to deliver high quality and workable solutions for technical issuesAbility to communicate technical specifications and troubleshoot without supervisionAbility to creatively solve challenging business/technology problemsMust be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environmentFamiliarity with web-based and mobile based product development and understanding of typical technology architecture for high-volume web sitesBias to action around identifying opportunities of improvementFocuses on priorities that matter to the businessProficiency in AI solutions and developing AI agents a plusFluency in Spanish is a plusThe total cash range for this position in Chicago is $111,000.00 to $155,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
