Part Time-Per Diem Physical Therapist

EdAdvance is seeking a Part Time-Per Diem Physical Therapist for the Birth to Three Department. The qualified candidate will be professional, organized, and able to work independently. Major responsibilities include home visitation with infants, toddlers, and their families, assisting families with the implementation of strategies to enhance the development of their child, developing IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) with families, providing service coordination to families, assisting child with the transition to preschool programming, and working in a trans-disciplinary team of early childhood professionals. Other duties may be assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is considered an essential function of this position.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities include working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, ability to develop effective relationships, excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications/requirements include being a CT DPH licensed/certified physical therapist, experience with infants, toddlers, and families, service coordination training (or willingness to obtain), excellent organizational skills, and computer literacy. Physical requirements include frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and therapeutic holding as required. Travel is required within the Torrington area. Must have reliable transportation, a driver's license, and car insurance.
