Assistant General Manager

Are you a driven professional with a passion for baseball and a knack for business development? The Pecos League Office, in collaboration with the San Rafael Pacifics, is seeking a dedicated Assistant General Manager for our 2027 season. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the team's off-field success by driving revenue through ticket sales and sponsorships, and enhancing the fan experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies for ticket packages, group sales, and premium seating.
• Support the identification, cultivation, and securing of corporate sponsorships and partnerships.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of engaging game day entertainment and promotional activities.
• Assist with the day-to-day business operations of the team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Help manage and mentor gameday staff and interns, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and media outlets.
• Collaborate with league officials to ensure compliance with all Pecos League rules and regulations regarding business operations.
• Please note: This position is focused solely on the business and operational aspects of the team and does not involve on-field baseball personnel decisions or concessions management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business operations, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.
• A passion for baseball and a commitment to delivering an exceptional fan experience.

Season Details & Compensation:

• This is a paid position.
• The operational period for this role is from May 22nd to July 25th, 2027.
• Position is based in San Rafael, California.
