Manager, U.S. Cash Management Operations – Dallas, TX Global Transaction Banking Global Transaction Banking (GTB) is the payments and transaction engine of Scotiabank. Purpose Leads and manages U.S. Cash Management Operations, with accountability for the end‑to‑end delivery of operational processes, control framework effectiveness, and team performance. Ensures alignment with business strategy, regulatory expectations, and risk management standards. What You’ll Do Lead and drive a customer‑focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Own end‑to‑end daily, weekly and monthly operational processes supporting GTB Corporate and Commercial Product, ensuring effective, efficient and scalable service delivery. Provide leadership and oversight of day‑to‑day operations through Assistant Managers, ensuring consistent execution, quality and SLA performance. Be accountable for operational risk management, including identification of issues, escalation, remediation and sustainable resolution of control deficiencies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, automation and operating model enhancements. Partner with Product, Technology, Sales and other stakeholders to support business initiatives, new product implementations and strategic changes. Lead engagement with internal and external audit functions, regulatory bodies and control partners; be accountable for timely remediation of findings. Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) to senior management. Allocate resources and manage capacity planning to ensure appropriate coverage and scalability of operations. Build and lead a high‑performing team by setting clear objectives, providing ongoing coaching and development, and driving performance management and succession planning. Understand how the bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day‑to‑day activities and decisions. Create an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations in accordance with Scotiabank’s values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day‑to‑day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance and AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Build a high‑performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vision, values, business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team. What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience executing and leading effective operational support of Transaction Banking business, including but not limited to Payments/Deposits, FX Settlement and Liquidity Management. Strong knowledge of Transaction Banking products with advanced technical acumen and solid risk management techniques. Demonstrated experience in people leadership and process ownership. Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal partners. Strong attention to detail, organizational, planning, time‑management, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to be a self‑starter and team player. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Prior experience with Finacle, Duco, Power BI and other operational systems considered an asset. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline considered an asset. What's in it for you?
