Pharmacy Tech

Pay Range: $19.00 - $27.55

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Pharmacy Tech to join our team. Under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist, and according to state and federal laws, performs a variety of tasks according to policies and procedures. The entry-level role requires the ability to perform mathematical calculations, knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology along with an understanding of the pharmacy dispensing responsibilities necessary to comply with state and federal regulations.

Compensation: Compensation that aligns with your experience

Schedule: Full Time, 7:30am-6:00pm, weekend rotation every 6 weeks 8:00am-4:00pm

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) recognized Educational School/Training Program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year pharmacy experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed or registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice is required. IL: May work in a license pending status for up to 60 days. WI: May work in a pending status until registration is approved.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician achieved within 12 months of hire or enrolled in Doctorate of Pharmacy Program is preferred.
