A health system in Hillsboro, IL is currently seeking full-time, permanent hire Medical Lab Techs (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS) to join their team! Check out the details below: Title: Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLT/MLS) Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Location: Hillsboro, IL Openings: 2 Full-time, Sunday-Wednesday, Nights: Varying 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (9:45 PM-5:45 AM or 5:45 PM-5:45 AM) – No on-call! Full-time, Monday-Friday, Evenings: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM – No on-call! Pay: $29-$44/hour base pay, plus applicable shift differentials, and an excellent benefits package including: PTO Free health insurance 401(k) with 150% employer match Fitness membership Short-Term Disability (STD) Long-Term Disability (LTD) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life insurance The Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Perform comprehensive laboratory testing while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality patient results. Analyze patient, control, and proficiency testing specimens and accurately document results. Calibrate, maintain, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation while completing all required documentation. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a qualifying program eligible for ASCP MLS certification. MLT, MLS, or Medical Technologist certification through ASCP or an equivalent organization (AMT or NCA). Minimum of 1 year of generalist/inpatient medical laboratory experience strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
