RESEARCH TECHNICIAN III

What You’ll Do Perform a variety of laboratory experiments in support of research objectives Prepare tissue samples for immunohistochemical analysis, including sectioning, staining, and imaging Culture and maintain mammalian cell lines, including cryopreservation and record‑keeping Analyze proteins using Western blot techniques Conduct DNA and RNA purification procedures Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment Manage laboratory inventory and order supplies Maintain accurate records of experiments and results Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and biosafety protocols Train and support new lab members and students Maintain clean, organized, and safe laboratory spaces Perform additional related duties as needed Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology, or another science‑related field. Experience: Two years of research experience. A related master’s degree may offset required experience on a 1:1 basis (e.g., a two‑year master’s degree in lieu of two years of experience) or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with View email address on click.appcast.io procurement system At least three years of experience in neuroscience, neuro‑oncology, or oncology research Experience with cell culture, tissue sectioning, immunofluorescent staining, and microscopy Experience managing or supporting laboratory operations Anticipated Pay Range USD $23.06–$34.96 per year, based on scope of responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market factors.
