Job Description
Title : Interventional Cardiology RN - Outpatient

Schedule :
- Shift: Day shift (08:30-17:00)
- Days: Monday-Friday

Assignment Details :
- Contract Length: 32 weeks

Requirements :
- License: RN (state license or COMPACT if applicable)
- Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year as an RN in an outpatient cardiology clinic AND triage setting
- EMR: EPIC experience required

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Conduct cardiac assessments including arrhythmia interpretation and chest pain assessment.
- Manage outpatient procedures including preparation and recovery phases.
- Evaluate and educate patients on medication management and lifestyle changes.
- Perform telephone triage and medication reconciliation/refills.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies including cardiac events.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and follow-up.

Compliance / Notes :
- Must provide current RN license and proof of required certifications.
- References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required.
