Ambulatory Care Nurse, Cardiology

Interventional Cardiology RN – Outpatient
Shift: Day shift
Days: Monday–Friday
Shift Times: 08:30–17:00
Contract Length: 32 weeks
Required License: RN (State license or COMPACT if applicable)
Required Certification: BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience: Minimum 1 year as an RN in an outpatient cardiology clinic and triage setting
Charting: EPIC experience required
Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments and assist in preparation and recovery for cardiac procedures.
Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
Engage with patients regarding medication management and lifestyle education.
Conduct telephone triage and coordinate scheduling and referrals as needed.
Provide support in managing post-procedure complications and anticoagulation assessments.
Compliance / Notes:
Must provide current RN license (or COMPACT license if applicable)
Provide proof of required/current certifications (e.g., BLS)
References: 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years (per posting)
