Speech Therapist in Fayetteville, NC

This full-time contract opportunity spans from August 13, 2025, to May 27, 2027, serving elementary, middle, and high school students based on placement needs. Work Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, in a collaborative and resource-rich environment dedicated to empowering learners of all ages.


Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license, or be eligible to obtain it by June/July if currently licensed out of state
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Solid knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy for K-12
• Skilled at collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Commitment to working onsite (remote work is not available for this role)
• Adaptability to serve caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students with varied needs
• Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to special education eligibility decisions
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines
• Foster communication goals through innovative and engaging interventions
• Communicate progress to educators and families regularly
