As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Tue 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Wed 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Thur 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sun 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
