As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) on our Heart Floor at The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway, you'll be an essential member of a collaborative care team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.Working alongside experienced nurses and healthcare professionals, you'll provide hands-on support that directly impacts patient comfort, recovery, and overall experience. Key responsibilities include:Assisting patients with daily personal care needs such as bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, and linen changesSupporting patient mobility, transfers, ambulation, and repositioning to promote safety and recoveryMonitoring and documenting vital signs and other important patient informationAccurately recording observations in patient charts to support quality careProviding compassionate emotional support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journeyEvery interaction offers an opportunity to improve a patient's day and contribute to positive outcomes.The Heart Floor at The Heart Hospital at Deaconess Gateway is a premier 24-bed cardiovascular unit dedicated to caring for both medical and surgical cardiac patients.
