Senior Analyst

JRAD is seeking candidates for a proposal position supporting the OUSD. This position is located in Pentagon, DC. The role involves developing artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing algorithms; designing AI solutions to solve business problems; implementing complex data systems; presenting research and making suggestions to leadership; and recommending changes to existing models with a focus on innovative algorithms. Roles/Responsibilities Advanced model development: Ten (10) years' experience designing, constructing, and implementing sophisticated ML and deep learning models to solve complex analytical problems. Algorithm expertise: Eight (8) years' experience with supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. System architecture & optimization: Ten (10) years' experience leading continuous improvement, re-architecting, and updating existing AI/ML systems to create efficient, scalable, and self‑learning applications. Model performance tuning, feature engineering, and deploying models into production environments (MLOps). MLOps & scalability: Ten (10) years' experience designing and implementing robust MLOps pipelines for automated training, validation, deployment, and monitoring of models at scale. Cloud‑based AI/ML platforms and containerization technologies. Advanced data & statistical analysis: Ten (10) years' experience in statistical analysis, experimental design, and data storytelling to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets. Data governance, quality, and ensuring ethical use of data and algorithms: Eight (8) years' experience. Preferred Skills and Experience Military or Department of Defense experience. Eight (8) years' experience communicating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, to drive adoption and demonstrate value.
