Manager, Manufacturing Engineering

ITT Manufacturing EngineerPlans, directs, and coordinates activities concerned with design, construction, modification, of all production processes, equipment, and machinery.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Follows all applicable ISO-9001 procedures relating to the duties of the Manufacturing Engineering Department and any associated manufacturing operations.Follows all applicable Departmental and Shop safety rules.Responsible for all Manufacturing Engineering in Lancaster.Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all manufacturing processes:Design, selection, acquisition, maintenance and repair of all production fixturingDesign, selection, acquisition, maintenance and repair of all production toolingDesign, maintenance, and implementation of all production equipment methods and operator methods.Development, optimization, and maintenance of all CNC programs.Determination and improvement of all machining feeds and speeds.Responsible for all SAP routings.Responsible for the management and direction of all employees in the Manufacturing Departments.Assist in the capital, justification and evaluation.Develops new product costing and evaluation of make vs. buy studies on existing product.Overall responsibility for cost improvement for direct and indirect elements of the manufacturing processes.POSITION REQUIREMENTSSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages 4 employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Manufacturing Engineering unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.Equal Pay Act Range$129,100.00 to $193,500.00 plus benefits and potential bonus
