West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology Malignant Hematologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) practice in Morgantown, West Virginia. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill duties at these additional sites. Duties Practice in Hematology/Oncology. Provide excellent patient care. Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license. Completed an Internal Medicine Residency program and a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program. Board certified or eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Program and Clinical Setting The WVU Cancer Institute at the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center in Morgantown is expanding its malignant hematology and transplant/cellular therapy services. This position offers the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team focused on the diagnosis and treatment of leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and related disorders, with access to autologous and allogeneic transplant, CAR-T therapy, and clinical trials.
