We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our growing window and door company. In this role, you will be the face of our brand in the field, turning leads into custom residential or commercial solutions. You will meet directly with homeowners, contractors, and builders to assess their needs, present our high-quality product lines, and provide precise, consultative project estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Sales Presentations: Educate customers on our product features, energy efficiency benefits, materials (vinyl, wood, aluminum, fiberglass), and warranties.
• Generate Estimates & Bids: Use our estimation software to provide accurate, competitive, and timely quotes to customers.
• Lead Generation & Networking: Follow up on company-provided warm leads while proactively self-generating new business through local job-site visits, networking with contractors, and referrals.
• Manage the Sales Pipeline: Move clients smoothly from the initial consultation through contract negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with Operations: Keep detailed records of technical specifications and customer interactions in our CRM. Coordinate with the installation and measuring teams to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of outside sales experience. Experience in the home improvement, construction, roofing, or window and door industries is highly preferred.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfort using measuring tools and a proven ability to learn technical product lines and building codes.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, listening, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Autonomy: Highly self-motivated with excellent time-management skills to effectively manage a field schedule.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic digital tools (tablets/laptops for estimating).
  • Ability to pass a background check.
