We are working with a well-established organization on their newly created Accounting Manager position. If you are passionate about implementing best practices in monthly close processes, managing day-to-day accounting operations, and driving insights through inventory and project-based financial analysis, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Accounting Manager Job Duties Include: Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger and bank reconciliations Manage inventory accounting, including standard costing, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate and timely project billing and revenue recognition Analyze monthly financial trends and variances to provide actionable insights to leadership Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls Support budgeting and forecasting processes with relevant historical data and trend analysis Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and successful audits Requirements: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred At least 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or project-based environment Proven experience with monthly close processes and financial reporting Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar) Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial analysis tools Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment If you are qualified and interested in learning more about this opportunity, please apply or send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io for immediate consideration.
