Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our IV Team. Hours: Full Time - Days - 36 hours a week -7a-7p - Every third weekend Up to $15,000 Sign on Bonus for qualified applicants The IV Nursing Team at Sentara Obici Hospital offers RNs an exceptional opportunity to practice advanced, compassionate care in a collaborative and supportive environment. This team is service oriented and consultative-rounding to all units assisting with central lines. The IV nurse will access medi-ports and assist bedside staff with medi-ports, place midlines (will receive on the job training for this), respond to all MRTs and Code Blues, and cross train for the monitor room. Education Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required) Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred) Certification/Licensure Registered nursing License (Required) BLS required within 90 days of hire ACLS within 1 year of hire (Required) Experience 2 years of acute care experience (highly preferred) Experience with ports, and Ultrasound IV placement (Preferred) Critical care experience (preferred) Medical Surgical experience (preferred) Previous healthcare experience (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Sentara Healthcare Inc
