Grand Hyatt Washington hosts large volume conventions and also caters to leisure travelers. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing, communications, social media, and digital strategies alongside the Marketing Manager. This role supports revenue growth, brand awareness, market share, guest engagement, and overall profitability through targeted marketing campaigns, public relations, content creation, and online reputation management. The ideal candidate will be creative and detail-oriented with strong social media, content creation, communication, and project management skills who can effectively support our overall business goals. This person will take on additional tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute annual marketing and communications plans aligned with business objectives. Manage and grow the hotels' social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Assist in website management across both brand and vanity sites. Create and publish engaging content, campaigns, and monthly social media calendars. Maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms, websites, listings, and marketing materials. Monitor online reputation and respond to guest reviews on platforms where applicable. Update Hyatt and third-party websites, ensuring all content, images, and information remain current and accurate. Coordinate media strategies, public relations efforts, and promotional opportunities for hotel outlets and events. Identify partnership, revenue, and exposure opportunities through social media and local/community organizations. Conduct marketing research, track campaign performance, and provide reporting and insights. Assist with presentations, collateral development, flyers, signage, menus, and other marketing materials. Coordinate photography and video shoots and support content creation efforts. Serve as a marketing resource for hotel departments, supporting internal promotional needs and projects. Stay current on digital marketing trends and provide recommendations for new opportunities and best practices. The hourly rate for this position is $23.00, increasing to $23.50 after six months.
