Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Aerospace Quality Inspector - 2nd ShiftWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team for the 2nd shift. You will perform inspections on precision aerospace components to ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and quality requirements.ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections on precision aerospace components to ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and quality requirements.Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, GD&T, and material/process standards.Complete inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102) and quality records.Verify product conformity using precision measuring tools; experience with Faro Arm or Romer Arm inspection equipment is a plus.Review manufacturing paperwork and maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.Support compliance with AS9100 quality standards and identify nonconforming products for corrective action.Utilize computer systems to enter inspection data, generate reports, and maintain quality records.Interpret material certifications, special process documentation, and applicable aerospace industry standards. (NADCAP experience/knowledge preferred.)Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.Experience with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.Knowledge of CMM inspection, including the use of Faro Arm and Verisurf Software.Experience with first article, in-process, and final inspections.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with NADCAP is preferred.Experience working in a CNC machine shop inspection environment.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and innovative team where you can contribute to the precision and excellence of aerospace components. Currently, the team is working 10-hour days with additional Saturday overtime. The role requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to work with advanced inspection equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
