Details Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Acute Care setting Patient ratio of approximately 1:10-12 Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, with mileage paid Epic charting system required No on-call requirements Requirements License required if applicable BLS certification required; ACLS preferred LTAC and Community Hospital experience required 2 years of experience preferred; 1 year may be considered on a case-by-case basis Recent Epic experience preferred but not required for consideration Prior travel experience required Experience with orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary patient populations Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and use of therapy equipment such as gait belts, walkers, and lifts Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation for LTAC and acute care patients Pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test required at orientation with one attempt allowed Attendance policy in place; missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered Radius rule of 75 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not accepted Previous SRHS staff members are not eligible to return as travelers First-time travelers may be considered based on prior travel experience requirements American Traveler Job ID P-749088.
