Bilingual Production Supervisor – First Shift Locations: Bronx & Long Island City, NY Compensation: $30–$38 per hour, based on experience Schedule: First Shift Required: Bilingual Fluency in English & Spanish Experience: Production, Manufacturing, Laundry, Linen Services, or Similar Plant Environment Travel: Between Bronx and Long Island City facilities as needed About The Opportunity Our client is seeking a hands-on Bilingual Production Supervisor to oversee first-shift production and employees across facilities in the Bronx and Long Island City. Working closely with the Senior Plant Manager, this role will coordinate daily production, manage and develop employees, troubleshoot equipment and workflow issues, and ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required. Commercial laundry or linen services experience is preferred, but candidates with production leadership experience from other manufacturing or plant environments will also be considered. What You'll Do Supervise production employees and daily first-shift operations Coordinate production schedules, staffing levels, and employee assignments Ensure production goals, deadlines, and quality standards are consistently met Monitor equipment for maintenance needs, malfunctions, and calibration issues Troubleshoot production-line problems and help minimize operational downtime Train, coach, supervise, and cross-train production employees Adjust staffing and production levels based on changing operational demands Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce production costs Implement and maintain quality-control procedures Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures Coordinate with plant leadership, suppliers, and service providers Support dispatching and workflow coordination between facilities Travel between the Bronx and Long Island City locations as operational needs require What You'll Bring Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required Previous supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, laundry, linen services, or a similar plant environment Experience managing, training, coaching, and developing production employees Understanding of production scheduling and staffing requirements Knowledge of equipment operations, quality control, and workplace safety Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to identify and address workflow and production issues in real time Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced production environment Ability to work first shift Ability to travel between two facilities located approximately five miles apart Preferred Qualifications Commercial laundry or linen services experience Dispatching or logistics coordination experience Experience supporting operations across multiple facilities Background in production efficiency or cost-reduction initiatives Experience coordinating equipment maintenance and service needs Why Join?
