Property Manager

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a well-established commercial real estate owner and operator to identify a Property Manager. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of industrial/flex, retail, and association-managed properties while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and tenant satisfaction. The Property Manager will work closely with internal leadership, tenants, vendors, and contractors to ensure properties are professionally managed, well maintained, and positioned for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of a commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring properties are maintained to the highest operational and appearance standards.
• Conduct regular property inspections, identify maintenance and compliance needs, and oversee vendors and contractors to ensure timely resolution.
• Develop annual operating budgets and support monthly financial reporting, including accruals, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Foster strong tenant relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and coordination of tenant onboarding activities.
• Solicit vendor proposals, negotiate service contracts, review invoices, and monitor operating expenses in accordance with approved budgets.
• Support lease administration by maintaining lease documentation, tracking certificates of insurance, and ensuring compliance with tenant and vendor requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three or more years of commercial property management experience preferred.
• Experience managing industrial/flex, retail, office, or association-managed properties preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with experience preparing budgets, reviewing operating expenses, and supporting financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
