Business Development Representative

Our client is a well-established structural steel contractor with a strong history of stability and success. The Company specializes in complex structural steel erection and works on large-scale construction projects across a variety of industries throughout the country. With a strong reputation in the industry and a growing project portfolio, the Company is seeking an additional Business Development Representative to join their team. The Business Development Representative Position The Business Development Representative supports revenue growth for the company by identifying and pursuing opportunities within construction markets. This individual builds relationships with general contractors, construction managers, developers, and owners, while actively pursuing new business in target markets. The position represents the company in day-to-day client interactions, generating and qualifying leads, and building the company's reputation as a trusted steel erection partner. Working closely with estimating and operations, the Business Development Representative supports proposal development and helps ensure client expectations align with field and erection capabilities. They manage an active project pipeline, track performance metrics, and share market intelligence with leadership to help improve win rates over time. Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Business Development Representative Position Construction business development experience is required Experience in structural steel erection, PM, or estimating within the steel industry is a plus Familiarity with AISC certified organizations is a plus General understanding of project delivery models such as Design Bid Build, Design Build, and CM Comfortable communicating with estimators, project managers, and field leadership Self motivated with strong follow through and account management skills Solid understanding of contracts and pricing fundamentals Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Business Development Representative This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary, full benefit package that is 100% employer-paid, paid time off, long-term stability, and a strong Company culture.
