As a Security Officer Residential Patrol in Rochdale, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while helping maintain a welcoming, secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and complete required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
