As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to riders, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $17.87 - 18.87 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, vehicle areas, platforms, entrances, perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access, prohibited conduct, and property damage.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
