EKG Technician IKettering Health Hamilton | Hamilton | Resource | First ShiftResponsibilities & RequirementsThe EKG Tech I performs non-invasive electrocardiographic (EKG) tests to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. This role supports accurate and timely cardiac diagnostics, contributing to patient care and operational reliability. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Required EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hirePreferred QualificationsCompletion of an accredited EKG Technician training program preferred but not required.Preferred Experience:One year of experience performing EKGs or in a related healthcare setting Certified EKG Technician (CET) credential from a recognized organization such as the National Health career Association (NHA) preferred but not required.OverviewKettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
