Product Operations AssociateSoftware Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Product Operations Associate for a contract assignment with one of our premier Human Resources clients in Dublin, CA. This role will be remote, working PST hours.ResponsibilitiesSeeking a dynamic and adaptable Product Operations Associate to join our team and play a critical role in executing and optimizing operational processes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. As a Product Operations Associate, you will partner cross-functionally to execute operational workflows, identify opportunities for process improvements, support scalable operational initiatives, and ensure operational excellence while delivering a high-quality customer experience.Required SkillsAbility to adapt quickly to changing processes and thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced startup environment.Execute complex operational workflows accurately while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.Identify process gaps, operational risks, and cross-functional breakdowns, and proactively recommend improvements.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify trends.Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve operational outcomes.Ensure clear and effective written and verbal communication with teammates, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.Support implementation of new operational processes, product launches, and workflow changes.Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while consistently meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and operational deadlines.Contribute to documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and scalable operational runbooks.Familiarity with operational management tools, dashboards, and reporting platforms.Experience in a high-growth startup, payroll, HRIS, or benefits technology environment preferred.Experience supporting leave of absence administration in a multistate environment.Comfortable working within queue-based operational workflows and managing competing priorities.Growth mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.Empathy for employees navigating complex leave experiences.Experience analyzing operational data to identify trends and improve performance.Proficiency with tools such as Metabase, Asana, HubSpot, Google Sheets/Excel, or similar platforms.Ability to quickly learn technical product functionality and operational systems.Delivers high-quality operational execution while consistently meeting SLAs.Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes, reduce operational risk, and increase efficiency.Builds and maintains scalable documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.Partners effectively across teams to resolve operational issues and improve customer outcomes.Uses operational metrics and data to support continuous improvement initiatives.Contributes to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
