Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2692.80/week -

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to geriatrics.
  
  
• 
  Perform ESI triage, IV insertions, and administer drips/infusions accurately.
  
  
• 
  Conduct EKGs, assist with procedural sedations, and manage patient transports via ambulance.
  
  
• 
  Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and ensure accurate, complete records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to protocols for trauma, stroke, STEMI, and higher-level transport needs.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience, including 1 travel assignment.
  
  
• 
  Possess current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NRP, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications; NIHSS required prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR from the past 2 years.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible for schedule adjustments, including holidays and weekends; must work 2 out of 4 holidays.
  
  
• 
  Have reliable transportation, with availability during all shifts, including nights and weekends.
