Womens Health Nurse Practitioner

Title: Nurse Practitioner Location: Kansas City, KS 66101 Duration: 03 Months to Long-Term Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Late clinic every Wednesday 08:30 AM to 6:00 PM last scheduled appointment time) Key Responsibilities: • Primary focus on Family Planning/Well Woman services. • This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive, client-centered reproductive health care. • Key duties include performing physical assessments including sports/work physicals and limited acute care services, providing routine gynecological care including pelvic/breast exams and colposcopy services (training available), prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests within the scope of the clinic setting. • The Nurse Practitioner will also contribute to the development of clinical protocols and procedures and provide patient education on a range of health topics, including pregnancy options counseling. • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent time management, and effective organizational and communication skills. Required Qualifications: • Must have an active and unencumbered license and be licensed as an APRN/NP to practice Nursing in the state of Kansas. • Current BLS certification. • Experience in reproductive health (family planning, OB/GYN, or women's health). • Must be able to work with a diverse client population, work with multidisciplinary teams, exercise judgment and refer clients as needed. • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus and/or willingness to utilize interpreting services.
