American Medical Equipment and Supplies Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and responsible PRN Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home care and support to clients in their homes.

Position Summary

The Home Health Aide will assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care while helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful home environment. This is a PRN/on-call position , ideal for an HHA who wants flexible hours and the opportunity to pick up available shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and basic nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow each client's individualized service plan and care instructions.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Accurately document services provided during each shift.
• Clock in and out correctly using the agency's EVV system and follow all EVV requirements.
• Maintain client confidentiality and respect each client's dignity, privacy, and independence.
• Follow agency policies, safety procedures, and applicable state requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and agency staff.

Qualifications

• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification/training as required.
• Previous experience providing in-home care preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client homes.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal care instructions.
• Must be able to complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Must be willing to comply with EVV requirements.

Schedule

PRN / As Needed

• Flexible scheduling based on available client shifts.
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available.
• Availability for occasional call-outs and coverage is a plus.
