What You ll Do:
Provide inpatient psychiatric care at a 99-bed hospitalManage a daily caseload averaging 18 patientsConduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for diverse psychiatric disordersCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers and psychologistsAdminister pharmacotherapy and handle involuntary commitments as neededDocument care using Wellsky EMR systemFollow protocols for inpatient psychiatric treatment and patient safetyOffer support to patients with anxiety, mood, personality, trauma, psychotic, and substance use disorders
What You Need:
Required:
Active BLS certificationBoard Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryDEA licenseAt least 1 year of inpatient psychiatric experience preferredFamiliarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy
Preferred:
Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently within a collaborative environment
