Pastor

Magnolia Bible Church is searching for its' next Student Pastor. This role is responsible for leading and developing a Christ-centered ministry that helps middle school and high school students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. This role provides spiritual leadership, discipleship, pastoral care, and outreach opportunities that engage students and their families in the life and mission of the church. The Student Pastor recruits, equips, and shepherds volunteer leaders while creating environments where students can worship, connect in biblical community, serve others, and share their faith. Through intentional relationships, teaching, and strategic ministry planning, the Student Pastor seeks to cultivate a thriving student ministry that develops lifelong followers of Jesus and future leaders of the church. Interested candidates must have 3-5 years experience in student ministry. Applicants must be able to supply video of you teaching in a live environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of a vibrant, balanced Student Ministry that fosters gospel-centered transformation Disciple middle and high school students, encouraging them toward spiritual maturity Cast vision and implement an overall curriculum plan to ensure biblical depth, spiritual formation, and practical application Develop weekly programs, discipleship environments, retreats, camps, and mission opportunities Share the gospel regularly and create a culture of evangelism and outreach Engage directly in local schools (e.g., Magnolia ISD events) to connect with students and build community presence Maintain consistent communication and relationships with parents and students Staff and Volunteer Leadership Supervise and collaborate with Kids Ministry and Young Adult leaders Recruit, train, and develop volunteers for Student Ministry and support other family ministry teams Lead regular trainings, leadership huddles, and spiritual formation for team members Develop and mentor interns for future ministry roles across all phases of family life Parent Engagement & Support Provide regular communication and resources for parents of students and children Create an annual calendar of events for parents (training, equipping, family connection nights) Offer biblical counsel and care to families navigating spiritual or relational challenges Ensure alignment between ministry environments and home discipleship Administration & Integration Develop and manage the Student Ministry budget; support other family ministry leaders in budget planning Coordinate with church staff for communication, calendar planning, and ministry alignment Participate in broader church strategy and ministry planning Ensure all family ministry programs operate with excellence, safety, and vision #J-18808-Ljbffr
