Apex Recovery Massage is a clinical, performance-focused massage practice built for people who train hard, move often, and expect resultsnot passive relaxation.

We work with athletes and active individuals who want to fix issues, improve movement, and stay in the game long-term.

We are hiring Licensed Massage Therapists (LMTs) who think critically, adapt their work, and take pride in delivering measurable outcomes.

This is not a spa environment.

What Youll Do

Youll provide structured, goal-driven sessions focused on:

• Injury recovery and pain management
• Sports and deep tissue massage
• Improving mobility, range of motion, and function
• Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and corrective bodywork
• Progressive care plansnot one-time sessions

Youll be expected to assess, adapt, and guide each session based on the clientnot follow a script.

Client Profile

Youll primarily work with:

• Strength athletes, runners, and endurance athletes
• Skiers, climbers, and outdoor athletes
• Clients recovering from injury or chronic pain patterns
• High-performance individuals who expect real results

This is a client base that values skill over routine.

Requirements

Required

• Active Utah Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)
• Strong understanding of anatomy and biomechanics
• Ability to perform deep tissue and therapeutic work

Preferred (Not Required)

• Sports massage or injury-focused experience
• Familiarity with myofascial, neuromuscular, or orthopedic techniques
• Experience with cupping, scraping, or assisted stretching
• SOAP notes or treatment planning experience

Pay & Compensation

• Base Pay: $25$35 per massage hour
• Tips: Typically $15$25 per hour
• Total Expected Earnings: $40$60+ per hour
