Accounting and Payroll Specialist
Osseo, Minnesota | Full-time | Onsite | $65,000–$70,000 annually | 1/2 Day on Fridays
Direct Placement
Bring your accounting experience and ADP payroll skills to a privately owned manufacturer of wood products sold through retail channels. This position blends approximately 80% accounting with 20% payroll, offering day-to-day variety and the chance to make a visible contribution in a small office.

What you will do
- Support daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and complete assigned accounting projects.
- Prepare and review accounting information and supporting documentation for the finance team.
- Process payroll using ADP Workforce Now and review payroll inputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Research discrepancies and coordinate corrections with the appropriate internal contacts.
- Maintain organized, confidential records and respond to payroll questions with professionalism.
- Coordinate with finance and HR to meet deadlines and support accurate reporting.
What you bring
- An accounting background combined with hands-on payroll processing experience.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with time and attendance processes.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion with confidential information.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines, communicate clearly, and work independently in a small office.
- Availability to work onsite in Osseo, in the northwest Twin Cities area near Maple Grove.
Schedule and compensation
The salary range is $65,000–$70,000, with $70,000 as the stated maximum. The anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility discussed individually.
