Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
• Hold a current Virginia School Psychologist license or eligible credential
• Prior school-based experience is highly valued
• Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, writing detailed reports, and interpreting findings
• Experience participating in IEP and eligibility meetings
• Strong collaborative skills with ability to communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
• Proven ability to manage documentation in accordance with compliance and deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students
• Complete assessments for special education eligibility and interpret results for stakeholders
• Prepare timely written reports and present findings in meetings
• Work closely with school teams in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings
• Collaborate with educators and administrators to deliver high-quality services
• Support behavior intervention plans and contribute expertise to student support services
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and school-specific requirements
