## Property AccountantApplylocations: Salt Lake City Office, Sandy, Utahtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 5 Days Agojob requisition id: JR104933**Make an impact**As the **Property Accountant** is responsible for journal entries, bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, accounts receivable and daily and monthly cash disbursements and receipts.* Reconcile Accounts Receivable, security deposits and rent roll to financial statements for all properties.* Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports prepare monthly journal entries, financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations.* Assist with annual budget preparation compiling key assumptions and capital budget information.* Analyze general ledger accounts and review ledger accuracy.* Oversee Accounts Payable function* Manage cash functions effectively.* Research and respond to inquiries from Property Managers concerning tenant statements.**What you should bring*** Knowledge of real estate databases, transaction processes, including contract reviews.* Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.* Experience in accounting for multifamily real estate.* Proficiency in Excel and Yardi.* Ability to represent company in a professional manner.* Bachelor's Degrees in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.**What you can be a part of**This role provides an opportunity for growth in a dynamic environment while contributing to the financial success of our diverse portfolio of multifamily properties.
