Project Accountant

LCG Facades is currently in need of a Project Accountant to support the accounting processes of construction projects. In this role you will provide consistent accounting management of multiple projects. As a commercial building envelope contractor approaching 20 years in operations, LCG is committed to quality installation and customer service. RESPONSIBILITES This role will be responsible for project and general accounting under the direction of the accounting manager. The Project Accountant will collaborate with project managers to monitor project performance while maintaining internal compliance and accounting standards. Coordinate project setup with project management and general contractors Produces project purchase orders in a timely manner ensuring supporting documents are correct Prepare and submit monthly contractor billings Update project schedule of values and approved change orders Build effective relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and agent representatives Monitor project expenses to ensure accurate allocation of costs Manage project payables and supplier lien waiver status Prepare and complete internal financial reports related to project performance QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience (minimum of two years in a similar role) Experience with QuickBooks Desktop, or similar accounting software Solid understanding of accounting and project cost principles (GAAP, job cost, revenue recognition) Prior experience in the construction industry preferred Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills Flexibility to prioritize tasks Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication including proofreading Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities efficiently and accurately Capacity to handle confidential information BENEFITS Salary range 52,000-62,400 Weekly payroll cycle Full time, Monday-Friday, in-office Health Insurance and Health Savings Account (HSA) match 401K (traditional or Roth) & up to 4% safe harbor match Paid Time Off, Paid holidays, Annual bonus LCG Facades is an equal opportunity employer.
