Accounting Analyst

A well established Utah based insurance company is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to support financial operations at the intersection of accounting, systems, and data. This is a high impact, fully on site role with dual ownership over month-end close and a premium billing system implementation, ideal for someone who brings strong accounting fundamentals and a genuine comfort with systems and data analysis. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial systems analysis Familiarity with data tools such as SQL or Power Query Prior involvement in a system implementation or finance transformation a strong plus Proficiency with ERP or billing systems Advanced Excel and experience with large datasets Key Responsibilities Serve as the accounting team's primary business lead on a premium billing system implementation Lead UAT, develop training documentation, and support go-live and post-launch monitoring Participate in monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries and account reconciliations Analyze revenue and receivables trends to support accurate reporting and management insights Build dashboards and ad hoc reports for the accounting team and cross-functional stakeholders Support forecasting and modeling related to premium revenue and receivables Identify and implement process improvements; maintain internal control documentation #J-18808-Ljbffr
