Finance Analyst

Join a globally distributed finance team supporting accurate, timely, and reliable financial operations in an international environment. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager on day-to-day accounting, period-end activities, reporting, and financial administration. The role offers broad exposure across accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, audits, payments, controls, and financial reporting. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and help resolve accounting questions and transaction discrepancies. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking will be essential for maintaining high-quality financial information and documentation. You'll also contribute to improving internal procedures, maintaining financial systems, and supporting efficient finance operations. This is a remote opportunity suited to an experienced finance professional who values accuracy, collaboration, and working in a multicultural environment.

Accountabilities

• Support day-to-day accounting activities and period-end procedures within established deadlines.
• Prepare and process journal entries while ensuring transactions are properly supported by relevant documentation.
• Assist with gathering, preparing, and compiling financial information required for external audits.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide supporting documentation and resolve accounting issues or discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and related administrative processes.
• Assist with the preparation of financial and administrative reports for business lines and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the contract database, ensuring information remains accurate and current.
• Assist with cash reporting and bank reconciliation activities.
• Support the maintenance, documentation, and ongoing improvement of internal financial controls and finance procedures.
• Assist with preparing and executing payments through electronic banking systems.
• Act as system administrator for the organization's travel and expense management platform.
• Provide reliable and responsive finance support while maintaining accuracy and established deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's-level professional education in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably within an international environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting administration and core finance processes.
• Demonstrated accounting and analytical skills, with experience working with finance or accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistent focus on accuracy and documentation quality.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks while remaining flexible, service-oriented, and responsive to stakeholders.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and work with stakeholders across different functions and cultures.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Intermediate Dutch proficiency, particularly for reading and understanding.
• Ability to deliver high-quality financial support within established deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, international, and multicultural environment.
