Director of Commercial Property Management We are seeking an accomplished Director of Commercial Property Management to provide strategic leadership and oversight of a diverse portfolio of retail, office, and industrial assets. Reporting directly to ownership, this is a highly visible leadership position with responsibility for portfolio performance, team leadership, client relationships, operational excellence, and business growth. The Director will serve as a trusted partner to ownership while leading the property management platform and helping expand the company’s third-party management portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for an established commercial real estate professional who combines strong operational and financial expertise with executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to develop lasting client relationships. Previous Director-level commercial property management experience is required. Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the commercial property management division Lead, mentor, and develop Property Managers and supporting team members Oversee the performance and operations of a diverse portfolio of retail, office, and industrial properties Establish standards, best practices, and performance expectations across the portfolio Serve as a senior-level resource for complex property, tenant, financial, and operational matters Ensure teams are delivering a consistently high level of service to owners and tenants Partner directly with ownership on portfolio strategy, staffing, operational priorities, and company initiatives Maintain high-level oversight of property budgets, financial reporting, operating expenses, CAM reconciliations, capital projects, and variance analysis Evaluate property performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve operations, control expenses, and enhance asset value Ensure lease obligations, contractual requirements, and client expectations are being met Provide thoughtful recommendations to ownership and clients regarding property operations and portfolio performance Work closely with accounting, leasing, construction, engineering, and other internal teams to ensure effective execution Client Relations & Business Development Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with existing ownership groups and third-party management clients Serve as a senior point of contact for key accounts and participate in high-level owner and client meetings Play an active role in growing the company’s commercial property management portfolio and securing new accounts Cultivate relationships within the commercial real estate community and identify potential business opportunities Participate in new-business presentations, proposals, pitches, and prospective client meetings Support client retention by consistently demonstrating value, responsiveness, and strong portfolio performance Represent the company professionally within the commercial real estate community Director of Commercial Property Management Previous Director-level commercial property management experience required Significant experience overseeing retail, office, and industrial commercial real estate Proven success leading Property Managers and building high-performing teams Strong understanding of third-party commercial property management Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining relationships with property owners, investors, and commercial real estate clients Ability and interest in contributing to business development and portfolio growth Advanced understanding of commercial property financials, including budgets, operating statements, CAM reconciliations, forecasting, and variance analysis Strong understanding of commercial leases and property operations Executive-level communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Strong business judgment with the ability to independently evaluate challenges and make sound decisions Strategic and forward-thinking while remaining willing to be hands-on when needed The Ideal Director of Commercial Property Management Leader The right individual will be more than an experienced property management professional. We are looking for a business-minded commercial real estate leader who understands how exceptional property management drives client retention, asset performance, and company growth. This person should be equally comfortable leading a team, analyzing portfolio performance, presenting to ownership, strengthening a client relationship, and pursuing a new management opportunity. This is an in-office leadership position based in Denver and reports directly to company ownership.
