Senior Engineering Project Manager

Location: Eastern Shore, MD OR Chesapeake Area, VA Company Summary: A well-established food and agricultural manufacturer is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead major capital projects across its operations network. The Senior Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for: Leading multi-million dollar capital projects from concept development and approval through construction, commissioning, and project closeout Managing project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and project execution plans to ensure successful delivery Coordinating engineering design activities and partnering with operations, maintenance, safety, environmental, and quality teams Overseeing contractors, vendors, and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and schedule objectives are achieved Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to support project success Managing change control processes, project reporting, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle Supporting facility expansion, modernization, reliability, and cost-improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations The Senior Engineering Project Manager should have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline) 8+ years of experience managing capital projects within manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, or food processing environments Demonstrated experience leading multi-million-dollar engineering or capital projects Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, project controls, contractor management, and change management Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively within plant environments Experience supporting construction, commissioning, and operational startup activities PE license and/or PMP certification is a plus Experience within grain handling, oilseed processing, feed production, refining, or bulk material handling operations is preferred Annual bonus opportunity Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Life and disability insurance programs Opportunity to lead high-impact capital projects within a growing organization If you're interested in this role, please apply below now! #J-18808-Ljbffr DSJ Global
