Description: Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 24 Number of Staff - 42 Type of Staff: Day Shift - 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC Night Shift - 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs Patient Ratios - 1:4 or 1:5 Type of Equipment - Standard unit equipment EMR - Cerner Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Must have: License (RN/CNA), BLS Preferred or nice to have: Candidates with these skills will be considered first. Chemo Certification List of Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Occasional pelvic exams, echo, thoracentesis Best Personality Fit: Team players willing to learn Required Certifications: None at this time Floating Area(s): Other med-surg units - Team rarely floats Dress Code: RNs - Navy, white or combination of both colors CNAs - Galaxy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Basic hospital policies and guidelines Weekend Requirement: Staff required to work 6 weekend days per schedule General Comments: Position creation reason: Contractor Replacement
