As a result our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Who are you?You are an experienced Payroll Coordinator with a minimum of 0-2 years of post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment. The Payroll Coordinator will have overall responsibility of supporting and processing multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for all staff across the USA (including California). The successful candidate will bring best practices and understand the administration portion of payroll, as well as work hand in hand with the Payroll Manager to ensure effective processes. Specifically, The Payroll Coordinator Will:Work with Payroll Manager to ensure guarantee bi-weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll for 800+ employees, including garnishments and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour lawsSupport payroll operations related to employee compensation (including bonuses) for exempt and non-exempt workersEnsure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirementsDeliver out-of-cycle/ad hoc payments to employees and facilitate the production of manual checks or wire transfers to bank accounts as necessaryWork with Human Resource to ensure the processing of unemployment, worker's compensation and employee leave requestsAssist in resolving payroll discrepancies, process bi-weekly adjustments and answer employee inquiriesAssist in reviewing time-sheets and entering bi-weekly payroll, including reconciling bi-weekly, quarterly and annual payroll reports as requiredSupport in delivery of Form W-2's and 1099's annuallyEnsure systems are updated to reflect our current employee base, including wages, sick and vacation time in line with current policiesWork with HR on a regular basis to assure complete coordination of pay, benefits, and deductionsDevelop and document payroll procedures to ensure maximum efficiencyAssist in preparation of internal and external auditsOversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirementsMonitor the accurate processing of staff appointments, transfers, promotions and terminationsPrepare and review payroll account reconciliationsInterpret new legislation impacting payrollSOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 2 years of experience administering multi-state payroll OR Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 3 years of experience administering multi-state payrollIn-depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processingFamiliarity with payroll softwareFull knowledge of current Federal, State and local labor laws, tax requirements and payroll regulationsExperience migrating payroll from one system to another is a plusExperience working in a professional services or consulting environment is preferredPreferredFamiliarity with the accounting side of payroll (e.g. journal entries, reconciliations, etc.)Experience implementing new payroll systemExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounting softwareAdditional Information*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
