JOB SUMMARY

This role supports one or more technical aspects of the application product life cycle , within a sub-product scope. You will collaborate with customers to understand capability needs, gather project specifications , create business cases and cost sheet analysis , and translate high-level business needs into detailed requirements . You'll analyze data to determine business problems, trends, or opportunities for process improvements , and create/execute test cases . This position also involves providing root cause analysis and corrective action plans , verifying delivery of customer needs , and ensuring quality delivery . You will be responsible for identification, documentation, and resolution of risks, defects and issues , and analyzing market trends for competitive insight . You will build organizational and platform knowledge and mentor junior resources . This role requires a thorough understanding of end systems impact of changes across multiple systems . Technical domains include, but are not limited to, Infrastructure, Networking/Telecommunications, Release Management, and Application/Platform Support . A key aspect of this role is leveraging AI tools, such as Google Gemini or Claude AI, to enhance data analysis, generate insights, and automate parts of the documentation process, thereby increasing efficiency and and accuracy.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with customers, Technical Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, Capability Managers, and other team members to capture capability needs and drive quality business solutions. Responsible for creation and maintenance of deliverables such as business vision, requirements, personalization to different clients, and user interface design.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse technology skills and perspectives to proactively identify and address technology development/delivery related challenges across project phases, driving insights and solutions to ensure successful project delivery.

• Support various aspects of requirements testing (e.g. testing plan, scenarios, documentation, defect management) to ensure minimal production defects are realized and completing analysis of the results tying back to customer impacts.

• Assure compliance for required standards and all necessary approvals have been obtained throughout the project lifecycle.

• Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting requirement walkthroughs and sprint reviews, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation.

EXPERIENCE

Required

• 3 years of experience in Information Systems or Technology

Preferred

• 1 year of experience in Lean/Six Sigma

• 1 year of experience in Health Insurance or HealthcareIndustry

• The position requires experience with Claude Code or Google Gemini.

EDUCATION

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.

Pay Range Minimum:

$72,700.00

Pay Range Maximum:

$116,600.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations. The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
